Silver Linings (26) Guggenheim Fellowship

IMG_0861.jpg

I am honored and humbled. The funny thing is that yesterday I was thinking, oh, what am I going to post on Silver Linings tomorrow? I’d run out of ideas, my energy and enthusiasm during this dark time was on the wane, I was really struggling to muster positivity. I thought, maybe tomorrow I’ll take a break. And then I thought, no, you will keep yourself open and something, anything will come to you and that will be it, even the smallest thing will present itself and that’s what you’ll post, just stay open, and something will come. And lo and behold, look what the universe sent.

Here ‘s to you and all your wonderful work! And to the Guggenheim committee for
being wise in their choice of Jenny McPhee to receive a fellowship,
